Clients reviews about CSM Trade North East Ltd

This is the second time I’ve used CSM for roofline work, and once again, they’ve exceeded expectations. They previously replaced the roofline on my old house, so I didn’t hesitate to contact them again. Craig came out to measure up and offered a very competitive quote for replacing the fascia, soffits, and guttering. The team arrived promptly on the scheduled date and carried out the work to an exceptional standard. The finish is incredibly neat, and it’s completely transformed the front of the house. Everyone was courteous, professional, and respectful of the property throughout the job. I’m absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CSM to anyone looking for high-quality roofline work. Reliable, professional, and great value. ~ M.T

Outhouse Conversion by CSM Trade North East! I cannot recommend CSM Trade North East highly enough! They recently completed an outhouse conversion for me, taking an old, wet, and damp coal shed and transforming it into a functional, beautiful, and fully integrated part of our home. It was a challenging job, to say the least – frankly, it was a "pig" of a project that many other building firms simply refused to even consider. From start to finish, the whole team was excellent. They approached the work with an incredible 'can-do' attitude and were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Communication was fantastic, and they handled every obstacle presented by the structure with professionalism and expertise. A special shout-out must go to the fitters, Peter and Lee, who were truly superb. Their skill and dedication turned a potentially difficult, messy job into a stunning success. ~ David M

We had an excellent experience with CSM NE for our roofline replacement. The team was professional, skilled, and completed the project with great attention to detail. The quality of the materials and workmanship was top-notch, enhancing both the look and functionality of our home. Communication was clear throughout the process, and the project stayed on schedule, even with minor weather delays. The team was thorough with clean-up, leaving our property in great condition. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden costs. We highly recommend CSM NE for anyone needing roofline replacement—fantastic work! ~ Christophe M

We had our house refinished with new soffits, facias, gutters and dormer window facia panels a few years ago. An excellent installation and beautifully finished job. During this last year a problem occurred with the dormer facia the CSM team identified the problem upgraded the material to ensure the problem shouldn’t happen again. The fitting team Pete and Lee outstanding the back office team excellent no issues whatsoever just sorted the problem. Nice to see a reliable high quality company who fulfill their guarantee promises with no issues. Many thanks CSM. ~ Nigel M

We are really happy with the work undertaken by CSM. We had our ridge tiles removed and replaced with a dry ridge system which looks great. We also had all the roofline timber, sofias and facias removed and replaced. Both aspects of the job are installed to a high standard with high grade material. From the initial visit and quote from Craig to the finish of the insulation the service has been excellent. Craig and the installers were great to deal with and extremely pleasant. After the work had been completed the surrounding area was left clean and tidy. ~ David C

I contacted CSM Trade North East Ltd, which I found through an on-line search, for replacement facias, soffits & guttering. I was given an appointment with a guy called Gary who popped round at the alloted time & went through exactly what the company could do for us & also pointed out something I hadnt thought about getting done which was the voids. The price was within my budget & the style matched my window frames. I was able to get a cancellation so there was no real waiting time. The job was completed in about a day & a half. The guys that did the work were polite & professional at all times. They kept us informed as to what they were doing & how long it would take. We have a decked area in the back garden & they were careful not to damage it when setting up the scaffolding. The guys made sure to tidy up the considerable mess before leaving. The finished job looks very good & even the neighbours have commented how good it looks. Overall really pleased with the finished product. ~ Neil E

We have just had a new roof installed to the bungalow, a guardian warm roof to the conservatory and new guttering, windows and doors installed. From the initial consultation with Craig (the owner) through to the installation works, the whole experience was professional and helpful. Craig gave us some sound advice on the works and where to save potential costs. Peter and Lee completed the works to an exceptional standard. They are a credit to CSM and the quality of their work is brilliant. Excellent quality work at a very good price that beats off their competitors… ~ Rob J

We have recently had our polycarbonate conservatory roof replaced with a Guardian warm roof using CSM. As promised the old roof was removed and the conservatory made water tight on day one. The team doing the work were efficient, tidy and polite, we could ask no more of them. Before the electricians second fix that ended the work the plasterer did the most impressive job - with 9 panel faces in the roof it could not have been more difficult, but the results are outstanding. Thank you CSM and your team of skilled tradesmen for a fantastic job. ~ Grumpy O

Review for CSM Trade – EPDM Roof, Windows & Guttering Replacement We recently hired CSM Trade to replace the large flat roof on our factory with a new EPDM rubber roof, along with anthracite windows and seamless guttering. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. The installation was carried out with great attention to detail, and the quality of the EPDM roofing is excellent—durable, weatherproof, and expertly fitted. The new anthracite windows have given the building a modern, clean look, and the seamless guttering has been a fantastic upgrade, eliminating leaks and improving drainage. Communication throughout the project was clear, and the team stuck to the agreed timeline and budget. They worked efficiently, kept the site tidy, and ensured minimal disruption to our operations. We’re extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend CSM Trade for any commercial roofing or exterior renovation work. A top-notch service from start to finish! ~ Chris M

CSM replaced all of the windows and installed a Guardian Warm Roof in our tired 30-year-old conservatory. Peter and Lee did a great job, and Craig and Gary made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. They were all very professional, also very helpful and completed a couple of additional jobs while they were with us. The conservatory has been completely transformed and now has a lovely, modern look both inside and out. Big thanks to the team. We would absolutely recommend CSM! ~ Melanie R

Contacted north edge roofing after the latest storm that we've had. One tile had somehow become loose and blew off at the same time it loosened a couple of ridge tiles.I called and was told Tuesday early morning it would be looked at ,priced and repaired which it has been. No problem no fuss and no rubbish left behind. Could not fault this company and would happily recommend them to anyone. Cheers guys and thanks for a job well done. ~ Richard W

The service was great from start to finish. Craig came out, discussed what my options were then gave a fair quote. He then kept me up to date with door ordering, when it came in and installation date. The lads who came to fit the door were both pleasant and polite and did a great job, and cleaned everything up afterwards. Thank you 😊 ~ Mel S

Very satisfied with recent work carried out by CMS. Excellent workmen, arrived on time, tidied up at end of each day and did a thoroughly professional job in replacing house fascias, soffits, garage roof and constructed a new raked roof. Absolutely delighted with our Guardian Warm Roof installation. The lads were punctual, polite, and worked extremely hard, leaving everything clean and tidy. The price was very competitive, and the communication throughout was excellent. Very happy and would highly recommend. ~ Lyndsey P

I took the time to obtain various quotations from companies in the North East, and was paticularly interested in how professional they were in terms of knowledge, price, reputation and recent reviews. Craig was honest, very approachable, and always replied on time to any queries. It was also a very competitive price, and he did not ask for a deposit (which I think is rare these days, and perhaps says a lot about their confidence in doing the job) The work included a roof repair with new soffit, and a new conservatory glass roof and frame to replace the 25 year old polycarbonate one. I had considered a solid roof replacement, but wanted to retain the brightness and atmosphere of a proper conservatory. Peter and Lee (🎶 😂) arrived on time and got cracking straight away. Less than 3 days later the entire job was completed and they cleaned and tidied up afterwards. I am delighted with the finished result, and I have an accredited 10 year guarantee to go with the personal offer to call them straight away if I have any issues post completion. I rarely complete Google (or anyone else's) reviews as I don't have the time or the inclination, but on this occasion it is entirely my pleasure for a fantastic job well done. Much appreciated Paul ~ Paul H

What a great company very competitive and extremely professional in their approach. No hard sell just a great price and a brilliant product on our 200 year old property. Everything kept in keeping with the style of the property. Extremely happy with everything start to finish. Thanks ~ Nathan G
